Shared Layout System

More News...

MEI’s Shared Layout System (SLS) turns the issue-planning phase of production into a shared process involving multiple people, departments and sites. SLS gives you simultaneous access to an in-progress issue, making it easy for several users to collaborate at once.

MEI Shared Layout System

Get it together
SLS is based on the Integrated Production Suite (IPS), MEI’s powerful database-centric production hub for publishing organization. SLS leverages industry standards like a Microsoft SQL Server database, Microsoft’s .Net Framework, XML, and standard Web services to connect high-powered, best-of-breed tools in an enterprise-wide solution.

SLS builds on the strengths of the industry-leading layout systems for which MEI has become best known. Sites moving from MEI’s Page Director Ad Layout System to SLS will feel at home with familiar interfaces and tools. New users will find SLS intuitive and powerful, with a host of features that leverage the strength of the collaborative and database-driven workflow.

SLS is designed from the ground up to dovetail with MEI’s IPS AdTrac and popular Page Director Classified Layout System (CLS). Updates in each system are reflected in the others, and users of all systems are integrated in a unified production system.
